Stretch and Strength in Dance

Dancer’s Stretch & Strength is a class specifically designed to strengthen the body, foster the development of flexibility, improve alignment, and further support students’ dance training. This class focuses on exercises that enhance core strength, increase flexibility, and promote proper body alignment, all of which are crucial for improving overall dance technique and performance. Through targeted stretching and strengthening routines, dancers can enhance their range of motion, prevent injuries, and build the physical foundation necessary for more advanced dance movements.

We recommend students take the Dancer’s Stretch & Strength class once they reach Grade 3 Modern level, as it helps meet the demands of the syllabus. This class provides essential support by enhancing strength, flexibility, and alignment, all of which are crucial for successfully advancing in their dance training.
