Pre-Vocational Examination

Cecchetti Classical Ballet has a rich heritage, offering a clear and logical pathway of technical progression paired with inherent musicality and a unique sense of style. The Cecchetti Method and its principles have played a formative role in the training of many of the world’s greatest ballet dancers, choreographers, and directors.

Intermediate Foundation: This is a Pre-Vocational Examination & is aimed at dedicated ballet students ages 12+ who are taking at least 2 ballet classes weekly. The minimum age to take the exam, which includes some basic pointework is 12.

Students will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and progress by performing in our annual show at the Parr Hall. This event is a highlight of the year, allowing students to experience the thrill and joy of performing on stage in front of an audience.
