Cecchetti Classical Ballet has a rich heritage, offering a clear and logical pathway of technical progression paired with inherent musicality and a unique sense of style. The Cecchetti Method and its principles have played a formative role in the training of many of the world’s greatest ballet dancers, choreographers, and directors.

The exam is aimed at children ages 11 and over who have had considerable previous ballet experience (usually 4 or more years on 2 + classes weekly). Preparing for the Grade 5 exam requires a minimum 2x a week commitment. It will take a minimum of 3 or more terms to complete on two classes per week.

Students will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and progress by performing in our annual show at the Parr Hall. This event is a highlight of the year, allowing students to experience the thrill and joy of performing on stage in front of an audience.
