Grade 3 Ballet

Cecchetti Classical Ballet has a rich heritage, offering a clear and logical pathway of technical progression paired with inherent musicality and a unique sense of style. The Cecchetti Method and its principles have played a formative role in the training of many of the world’s greatest ballet dancers, choreographers, and directors.

Grade 3 Ballet is aimed at children aged 9 and over who have had considerable previous ballet experience, or children aged 12 and over with comparable physical activity or experience such as gymnastics or contemporary dance. Typically, it takes 4-6 terms to complete Grade 3, with students attending one class per week. This level builds on previous knowledge and skills, preparing students for more advanced ballet techniques and performance standards.

Students will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and progress by performing in our annual show at the Parr Hall. This event is a highlight of the year, allowing students to experience the thrill and joy of performing on stage in front of an audience.
