This years show date is Saturday the 9th of May (2026)
Every year, JC Dance Academy proudly hosts its annual variety show. This special event gives parents, friends, and family the chance to see the progress your child has made in their dancing over the past year.
More importantly, the show is a valuable opportunity for our dancers to build confidence. Standing on stage in front of hundreds of people and performing a routine that, just 12 months ago, may have felt completely outside their comfort zone is a huge achievement. It’s a moment to feel proud, while also supporting each child’s continued development.
Due to the show’s growing popularity and the success of this well-established format, this year’s performances will once again be split into two sections, both taking place on the same day: a matinee performance and an evening performance.
The matinee show will feature children of all ages performing a variety of styles, including Ballerina Bear, Hip-Hop Hippo, ballet, tap, modern street/breakdance, and musical theatre.
The evening show will consist of two ballet performances: Frozen – The Ballet and Peter Pan.
