All of the students at JC Dance Academy studying Ballet, Tap or modern follow the ISTD syllabus. Once your child turns 5, and Miss Jenny believe they are ready, they will be invited to take an exam in Cecchetti Ballet, ISTD Tap or ISTD modern. These exams are usually held in July at JC Dance Academy.
Exams are a Fantastic way for your child to progress through the syllabus and build confidence. JC Dance Academy has a 100% pass rate with a very high percentage in distinction and merit.
We are very proud that JC Dance Academy has nurtured students from 2 years old on the Ballerina Bear Program (a unique syllabus (Dancing Dots), specifically designed for Ballet technique from an early learning stage), through to highly accoladed ISTD dance qualifications.
